Labour waste of taxpayers' cash, example no. 572

Trying to travel around north west London on public transport this weekend served as yet another reminder of Gordon Brown's lack of judgement, and financial mismanagement. It was, after all, his stubborn decision to impose the flawed public-private partnerships upon TfL, against the wishes of virtually everybody else involved. Bechtel and the like have been laughing their asses off, all the way to the bank. Meanwhile taxpayers were left to pick up the enormous tab, and the Tube upgrades fall ever more behind schedule. What tourists must make of our underground system at the weekends is anyone's guess.

So thanks again Mr. Brown: such a safe pair of hands! Not.
